Volunteer!
Volunteers play an integral role in the care and well-being of the animals at the Humane Society. Volunteer opportunities are available in all areas of our operations. Whether you are interested in socializing cats, walking dogs, assisting with adoptions or helping with fundraising efforts, we have a job for you!
Requirements
Volunteers MUST attend a volunteer orientation! Orientations are held at our office at 910 W. 14th St., and can be scheduled to fit your needs. Orientation will typically require about an hour of your time.
Please Note: Volunteers MUST be 18 or older to volunteer at the Humane Society. Be prepared to show your current valid ID to verify age. All volunteers are required to donate 5 hours of time per month for a minimum of 3 months to ensure consistency in the care of the animals.
