Ways
to Give
The
Humane Society of Tom Green County, although currently housed inside
the San Angelo City Animal Shelter, is a completely separate entity
from City Animal Services and City Animal Control. The
City Animal Shelter can euthanize stray animals as soon as three
days after admittance. Animals brought in by their owners are typically
euthanized the very same day they are brought into the shelter.
With proper funding, the Humane Society of Tom Green County can
and will provide a much-needed alternative to these extreme measures
by establishing a no-kill shelter for all adoptable animals.
In addition, the Humane Society relies on donations and contributions
from the public for our current operational costs to include, but
not limited to: our low-cost spay/neuter program, emergency vet
care for needy animals, foster care, rescue operations, lost and
found hotline, free flea and tick dips for the public, and educational
services.
Won’t
you please help us by becoming a member of the Humane Society today?
With current economic struggles that our nation and our community
are facing, we need your help now more than ever.
You
may also choose to donate to the Humane Society by contributing
an item on Our Wish List or by
becoming a volunteer for the Humane Society and donating your time.
If you would like to volunteer, please come to our Volunteer orientation
held the first Saturday of every month at our office inside the
City Shelter. Refer to our Calendar
