Welcome to the Humane Society of Tom Green County website. We are a nonprofit organization with one salaried employee and a volunteer working/governing Board of Directors.

Our vision is to end euthanasia of adoptable animals with the aim that no healthy companion animal will be euthanized for lack of a home, for lack of space, for lack of compassion.

Over nine thousand pets in the Concho Valley are needlessly put down because of neglect, abuse or irresponsibility of the owner each year. Become part of the solution! Please have your pet spayed/neutered. 

Get Involved

Become a Volunteer and Participate in Mobile Adoptions, Flea & Tick Dips, Educational seminars, or socialize with a City Shelter animal.

2010 Fur Companion Calendar
